Deciding on a foot

On June 30th, I received the following brief email:

Steve have you decided on a foot yet? Wayne

Oops, time to make up my mind.

I replied:

Wayne,
Sorry I’m moving slowly here. I called Gradis and scheduled to drop off the feet on Tuesday afternoon at 4:15 — and talk to you if you’re back from clinic. If you’re not around, I’ll make an appointment for later in the week.

I’m favoring the Vari-Flex right now, but need to trot around on the Treas again tomorrow to confirm.

I think I’ll need the socket about 2 ply larger — I have trouble squeezing into it until late morning. It needs just a wee bit of relief on the fibular head, but fits wonderfully otherwise.

Thank you,
Steve

So I swung by the shop this afternoon and did get to see Wayne. I explained the tightness of the socket to him and he agreed to enlarge it accordingly on the final leg. Yay! But I still need to drop off the fabric to laminate into the design. The last time I saw my fabrics was when my two year old, Audrey, was running off with them — and I haven’t seen them since…
